Disney Theme

In our display we have a number of Disney Characters:

• Mickey
• Minnie
• Donald
• Daisy
• Pluto
• Professor Ludwig Von Drake
• Clarabelle
• Goofy
• Tinkerbell
• Remy (from Ratatouille)
• Phineas (from Phineas and Ferb)
• Ferb (from Phineas and Ferb)
• Candace (from Phineas and Ferb)
• Perry (from Phineas and Ferb)
• Dr Doofenshmirtz (from Phineas and Ferb)
• Pinky (from Phineas and Ferb)

All characters are made out of 9mm plywood. To get the correct shape for the characters we used a data projector to project the images on the plywood and drew around the shapes. We then cut them out with a jigsaw.

Painting then started with a primer followed by 2-3 coats of outdoor paint. We then used a paint marker to outline the character.

The larger characters are held up by 2 very large brackets and we weigh them down with pavers. The smaller characters use 1-2 smaller barckets each.
